Turn your junk into FUNK!...
SIN Cru Community is a not for
profit organisation which relies heavily on the support of volunteers
and grants. As part of our fundraising drive this year, we are
launching a campaign called Turn Your Junk Into Funk.
We are collecting and recycling
used batteries and printer cartridges, and unwanted mobile phones
(with accessories if possible). There will be collection boxes
for batteries, inkjet printer cartridges, laser printer cartridges
and mobiles phones at workshops. If you have used or unwanted
batteries, printer cartridges or mobile phones lying around and
you don’t know what to do with them, donate them to SIN
Cru to recycle and thereby help raise funds for SIN Cru projects.
The UK produces over 26 million tonnes of household waste each
year, much of which ends up in landfill sites. Other waste is
incinerated, releasing more carbon into the atmosphere. Not only
will you be helping SIN Cru with the Turn Your Junk Into
Funk campaign, you will also be helping the environment
by donating your junk for recycling.
So come on, what are you waiting for? Burst the circle, Turn
your Junk into Funk!
SIN Cru's Participate! workshop programme continues
