SIN Cru, which stands for Strength in Numbers, was born on the top deck of a red bus in 1995 and has since grown into a strong collective encompassing all areas of hiphop culture.

Kilo

Visual arts co-ordinator

Since 1984 Kilo has been expressing his artistic talents via the use of spraypaint. After gaining international recognition for his artwork he turned his hand to the art of video production. In 1992 he produced the UK's first quarterly magazine style video series, Visual Grafix, focusing on graffiti and Hiphop culture across the world. Distributed both nationally and internationally, with a total of 20 videos, Visual Grafix has now expanded into a successful video production company, Visual Grafix Productions, specialising in 'street culture' videos and producing everything from club visuals to corporate promotional videos including Lewis Sterling clothing and features on the Stussy Tribe series.

Ill Boogs

Performing arts co-ordinator

Ill Boogs has been actively involved in the UK Hiphop scene for the past eighteen years, twelve of these as a dancer with a reputation within Bboy circles for his creative approach to the dance form. In addition to being a Sinstar and member of the Deadly Sins (the Sinstars battle/competition crew), his main responsibilities within SIN Cru, alongside TrubL Roc, are the co-ordination of all dance (Bboy/Bgirl) bookings, events and workshops as well as regular club bookings around the UK, these include the 'Fresh 2000' event (Birmingham) and the Scrambling Feet birthday battle jam in Switzerland (2001).

TrubL Roc

Artistic Director

Since 1986 TrubL has worked as a Hiphop dancer nationwide for clubs, theatres and television. She began teaching in 1997, and with local colleges has introduced Breakdance into secondary education. As Projects Co-ordinator for Hiphop collective SIN Cru, she mentors a youth Breakdance crew, giving guidance on teaching, performance and choreography.

Ben Swift

Nonsinthetik

Ben Swift is an illustrator/designer/photographer/b-boy/dj based in London, England. Camberwell College of Art graduate, original Hip Hop kid, SIN Cru member & the face behind Nonsinthetik. A soldier armed with a Pilot Hi-Tecpoint v5 pen taking part in the 21st century style wars! Ben's distinctive bugged out b-boy characters & ill illustrations turn throw-a-way flyers into collectors items. As a result he's gone on to represent for a variety of cool ass clients both here & Stateside including Addict, Nike & Reebok. Ben’s done the cover art for all of Richy Pitch’s releases on 7 Heads Records NYC & publications such as Trace, Time Out, The Guardian Guide, The Financial Times, Smash Hits, Hip Hop Connection, Knowledge and Spin have all copped a dose of the Nonsinthetik niceness. That’s word to Big Bird!

Disorda

Suspect Packages

With over 10 years involvement in the promotion and exposure of UK based Hiphop artists, which includes mass production of uk only mix tapes around the world, regular radio shows on a number of stations around the uk and abroad, and deejay and a&r work for various clubs/labels. Disorda now has his own business retailing in UK Hiphop via his company Suspect Packages. Day to day involvement with pretty much every single rapper/group within the UK gives Disorda that advantage over most for being on the ball when it comes to who's doing it, and who's about to do it.
